By booking an appointment with Katspaw Wax Room, you agree to the following terms.

Booking & Payment

A valid credit card is required on file at the time of booking. Appointments cancelled without sufficient notice or missed entirely will be subject to a 50% no-show fee charged to the card on file.

Valid government-issued identification is required at the time of your booking.

Service Contraindications

By completing a booking, you confirm that you do not have any conditions that would contraindicate body waxing services. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Use of Accutane or Retin-A
  • Recent sunburn
  • Active STI Outbreak
  • Use of blood thinners

It is your responsibility to disclose any relevant health information prior to your appointment. Katspaw Wax Room reserves the right to refuse service if a contraindication is identified.

Informed Consent & Liability Waiver

By booking and attending an appointment with Katspaw Wax Room, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the nature of body waxing services and voluntarily consent to treatment.

You understand that waxing involves the removal of hair from the root and that, while every precaution is taken to ensure your safety and comfort, some degree of temporary skin sensitivity, redness, or irritation is normal and expected. In rare cases, more significant reactions may occur, particularly if health or medication information has not been accurately disclosed.

By proceeding with your appointment, you agree that:

  • You have provided accurate and complete health information to the best of your knowledge
  • You have disclosed any medications, skin conditions, or recent treatments that may affect your skin's response to waxing
  • You understand the risks associated with the service and choose to proceed voluntarily
  • You release Katspaw Wax Room and its staff from liability for any adverse reactions or outcomes resulting from undisclosed contraindications or information withheld at the time of booking or check-in

In-Person Check-In

At the time of your appointment, you will be asked to confirm once more that no contraindications apply. This check-in is a condition of receiving service.
